We drove from California to Nevada, blasting through Las Vegas without even stopping, not even at favorite spots like the Pinball Hall of Fame or the Atomic Testing Museum.

Beautiful skies enhanced the dramatic vistas as we drove from NV to AZ to UT and back to AZ.
We had a great stop at Pipe Springs National Monument. The Visitor Center - Museum is a collaborative effort of the National Park Service and the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. It's a lovely facility on the Kaibab Reservation, and it has a very fine display of basketry.
End of day - Jacob Lake Inn, with famous cookies recommended by Royal and Jared.
