Home on the Range
Lucky for us, we had time to meet Lanie and Don for brunch at the Back Porch before we hit the road. Until next time, friends! We went north out of Colorado and into Wyoming, where the deer and the antelope played. Maybe they played with the rolls of alfalfa, who knows?
We crossed into South Dakota and drove through the Black Hills, passing
the Mammoth Site that we visited years ago with the boys (we are
missing those boys on this trip!). We got into Rapid City in time for a
late dinner and then checked into our hotel.
