Randy was busy working today; here he is driving away in the little red rental car, and here's his Crystal City office building at night.
While he was busy working, Bryn met some friends and had a play day. First, by the Eisenhower St Metro Station, she saw the National Science Foundation. It was nice to see it's still around, it was tempting to go in there and ask for money. Donna and Chris met Bryn at the station, then we drove west and had brunch somewhere in Fairfax County before heading to Leesburg, VA, home of The Oatlands, a National Historic Trust Site. https://www.oatlands.org/
We had a lovely time touring this impressive home and gardens. Judith the tour guide was outstanding.In the evening, Randy and Bryn had dinner in Alexandria, then went to a bookstore. It was definitely a fine day.
